I am researching John Miles, b. 1822, England, d. before 1900. He married Mary Miller (b. 1832, d. Oct 1900) in Barbour Co., W.VA in 1855. I know of 6 children they had: Susan, Josephine, Elizabeth, Philip, John, Sarah. Unable to locate them in the 1880 census. Last found them in the 1870 census for Buckhannon, Upshur Co., W.V. They had just had child #6, Sarah in Feb of 1870. So it is highly possible there are more children. I have been unable to find info on John, as he was born in England. I have been searching ships passenger lists, but that is like searching for that needle. I do not know what port he came in. I am hoping to find someone researching this same family.
