Married to Estalene Kelly 25 Feb 1939 in Tallmansville Wv. They had 4 children. Kenneth C. born 1939, Ketha P. born 1941, Emma Joyce born 1944, & Emma Jane born 1950. Harold is burried in Upshur Co. Wv. I can give you more information on this family, & also Susan F. (Cutright) Vangilder was born to Edgar J. & Cora M. (Tenney) Cutright 04 Jul 1911. Married to George F. Hi Vicki, I also have Cora M. TENNEY the dau of William Conrad Tenney and Charity Smith. I don't have anything else either. She was the sister to my husband's Aunt Athena Tenney's Father Jesse Tenney. Maybe I could find some info on her from Aunt Athena. I'll get back to you if I find anything. Vicki, I have in my records a Cora M. Tenney who was the daughter of William Conrad Tenney and Charity E. Smith. I have nothing else on Cora (birth date, husband, children, etc.) William Conrad was born in Randolph County in October 1858. Charity was born Feb. 26, 1855. They were married in Upshur County on Nov. 28, 1883. William Conrad was the son of Josiah Tenney and Jemima Currence. Both were born in Randolph County. Hi Judy, No, I haven't found anything more in the records about Hattie (LANHAM) ROHRBAUGH SLAUGHTER after the newspaper article about her in "Buckhannon Delta" of Aug. 9, 1923. However, her mother Sarah (RADABAUGH) LANHAM MOWERY was living at that time with her, and I later found the burial cemetery of Great Great Grandmother Sarah and the date she died--and also a third marriage for Sarah to George MOWERY. In fact, Sarah died less than 3 months after that article was published (at age 82). The above-mentioned article notes that Hattie SLAUGHTER was in the hospital for surgery, so I'm wondering if she died during surgery since I've never found another mention of her in any record--not even a death record. Of course, she might have recovered and married, thus changing her name once again as her Mother did. Who knows? I appreciate your inquiring again about cousin Hattie, because it reminds me to include this inquiry on the Upshur County list.
