In my research, I can't seem to find a Bascomb living in WV in the early 1800's, except for my Martha Bascomb (1780 Va.-1854Tyler Co. (W)VA) who married Robert Covalt. Robert's brother James Covalt married Rebecca Bascomb. Martha's father is suppose to be James Bascomb. I can find plenty in Va, Carolina, and other "southern" states, but none on the Ohio River in WV. Does anyone have a Bascomb? Could you hear the hope in my plea? Susie
