I am seeking information on the Underwood family. I have recollections of my mother talking about family in Josephs Mills and in Sistersville. My grandfather was Harvey Underwood who left West Virginia to go to Pittsburgh. He was the brother of Silas Underwood. I can verify Silas Underwood and Della Forrester and have unconfirmed information that Silas' father and grandfather were Joseph P. Underwood and Wells Underwood. I haven't been able to verify either Joseph or Wells. I would appreciate any information or sources that you have to share. I will be glad to share any information that I have on Harvey's family.
