    3. Kim, are you aware of any Buchanan's that may have gone to IL? In the early 1900's my great grandmother had a Frank Buchanan listed as a boarder. In an obit on her mother's side (not the Tyler connection) it referred to him in a mention of various family who came for a funeral. I was studying my great grandmother Eliza's death cert the other day. Frank Buchanan was the informant and he put that her father was b. in West VA. He put Unknown for the mother. His knowing abt West VA made me wonder if he was somehow related going back to Tyler Co. A little checking quickly showed that there were Buchanans in Tyler Co in the 1800's. This is no doubt stretching a clue but I have been more curious abt him since I got to thinking abt that death certificate. At this point I have not learned any more abt him. The 1910 census gave his birth as IL.
