Hi Christina, I guess my #1 right now is my gg-grandfather Lindsey C. Beaty. What I am hoping to find is more information on him. My Aunt, his granddaughter, said that her father never ever spoke about him. She doesn't know anything about her grandfather, except for the fact that he died when her father was 15 years old. She believes that he may have died in Hancock Co. The family is listed in the 1880 Census in Tyler Co. But I can't find where they went in 1900? Then William Beaty, Lindsay's son, is living with his family in 1910 in Hancock Co. I am hoping to visit this summer in Hancock Co. to hopefully back step and see what happened to them. I haven't checked the other counties in 1900 except for Tyler and Hancock Co. I don't have a soundex that is accurate for 1900. The 1900 Soundex in Philadelphia Archives only listed about 3 Beatty families, so I have to search page by page for them. It gets frustrating sometimes when your waiting for the next puzzle piece but exciting as well when you find it. Thanks for your shared experience to help keep us all looking. Faith A. Van Schaik
