Researching Vincent SANDY, born ca 1800; possible first residence either Marion County or Harrison County. Reported to be the son of Vincent and Mila SANDY. Married Mary BEATY (daughter of Alexander BEATY)ca 1827, Marion County. Vincent SANDY died Tyler County, 9th August, 1853; Mary died 19th May, 1885. Children of Vincent & Mary: Jane, William, Mary, James, Sarah, Matilda(could have been Malinda), John and Susan. Also possibly a Vincent. Believe this SANDY family probably had its origins in old Virginia, possibly Rockingham County.
