Thelma You said something about Owl's Head Ridge have to travel past John Wells place. This is a long shot, but would the John Wells that own this place be from the 1800's? My gggrandfather Philip Linch b: 1815 married a Margaret Wells about 1844 and lived in the Pursley area of Tyler Co. A John Wells went the Surety for the marriage bond, lists nothing for father or parents. Maybe a father or a brother? Or could be a son by another marriage? Have been unable to find anything on her passed. I know very little of the Tyler Co. area. Thanks for your time even if you may not be able to help!
