    1. [WVTYLER-L] Pleasants & Tyler
    2. Hi Evelyn, It has been awhile since I've written. I'm still on the Webster email list, also Pleasants and Tyler..but had to unsubscribe to Braxton, Nicholas and HCPD for awhile. I love the lists..but spending so much time on group mail that I can't assemble and record what I already have piled up, need to work on documenting. The Webster CHAT is too late. I like to get offline about 9.30 pm. Wish we could have a morning or afternoon time as well. Off the top of my head, I don't remember your Watson surname, but will start watching for it. If you haven't checked out the Tyler, Pleasants websites, you're in for a real treat. I think all counties in WV should follow their pattern. Linda Fluharty is the Pleasants Co Coordinator. She does a wonderful job of providing useful information. There are complete biographies on all the early Pleasant Co Pioneers. You will be impressed, and if you don't find your Watson's in the Census, Birth, Deaths, Marriages, Cemetaries...email the group for additional information. It's not a busy list, and like Webster, needs stirring up from time to time. Pleasants was formed from Tyler..mostly. It has equally good information. Chances are your Pleasant ancestors were actually living in Tyler in the early 1800's. I've found wonderful information on my Tyler and Pleasants ancestors who moved to webster co around 1900. That is my Great Grandparents did. The others stayed. Here's the email addresses: Neither has much activity..but you get good info from people that live there, some of them volunteers for the Historical Societies.
