    3. Seeking date and place of death of Sarah Ann OWENS STULL; Sarah married Hiram STULL, in Tyler County 28th January, 1847, but Sarah might have died in either Tyler County or Ritchie County, as some of the STULL family also lived in Ritchie. Also, does anyone know the parents of Sarah Ann? Thank you for your assistance. Pat Pulasky

    1. [WVTYLER-L] Baker Bishop Fox
    2. Patricia L Herron
    3. The surnames I am researching in Tyler Co. are: Baker, Bishop, Fox, Jackson, Mercer, Reynolds and Yost Samuel Baker m. Ella Bishop, they had at least two children Margaret b. March 27 1873 and William Baker b. unknown. Samuel Baker m. Ellen (Ella?) Bishop in 1870 in Monroe Co. Ohio. Ellen seems to have two children Nathan Bishop age 11 and John Henry Bishop age 4. Apparently Ellen\Ella died sometime after 1873 and before 1876 as the 1880 census lists Samuel married to Mary and John Henry Bishop is living with them listed as a nephew. Samuel and Mary Baker (who is Mary Baker, was she previously married to a Baker?) were married 1876 in Tyler Co. W.VA. Margaret Baker m. Joseph Fox son of Wm. Lemuel and Anne Mariah Jackson Fox. Any clues greatly appreciated. Thanks, Pat

    1. [WVTYLER-L] Information on the Underwood Family
    2. I am seeking information on the Underwood family. I have recollections of my mother talking about family in Josephs Mills and in Sistersville. My grandfather was Harvey Underwood who left West Virginia to go to Pittsburgh. He was the brother of Silas Underwood. I can verify Silas Underwood and Della Forrester and have unconfirmed information that Silas' father and grandfather were Joseph P. Underwood and Wells Underwood. I haven't been able to verify either Joseph or Wells. I would appreciate any information or sources that you have to share. I will be glad to share any information that I have on Harvey's family. Frank

    3. Hello, Nancy. Very generous offer. When you get time (no hurry), could you check of Weakley or Weekley, the earlier in 1800's, the better. Maybe you've done it already, since you have Weekleys in your family tree. Thanks for offering. Dave Weekley GeneralNan@aol.com wrote: > Hope this goes through!! 3. Linda Mitchell Can you identify #251 on the 1850 Tyler Co. census. Deborah 39 who is married to Christian May 24 seems to be the mother of the six children listed. William Wingrove 18 is my line. I have researched William Wingrove and John Wingrove and know Samuel Wingrove died in Civil War. These 3 enlisted in Belmont Co. OH. What happened to the girls - Samantha 15, Ann 11, and Matilda 4. I think the above Deborah was married to Franklin Wingrove and lived in Lewis Co., VA (WV). I would guess from the census that Christian and Deborah lived near Wick area of Tyler Co.Thanks. Thelma Wells West

Also looking for information on James Covalt and Mariah Rice who came to Tyler Co. as children, prior to the 1850 census. Their daughter Sarah, married Thomas Moore, son of John and Mazy Moore and moved to Oklahoma during the oil boom in the early 1900's. Susie
