I'm new to the list I just switched from Preston Co. I'm trying to find out if my G.G.-grandmother, Margaret Moffat Love b. 1818 in scot. went to live with her son, Francis Love after her husbands death in 1872. I tracked the family to Newburg (1870 census) Ritchie Love, her husband is buried in Scotch Hill cemetery Newburg. Family "lore" says she may have returned to Scotland, but I don't think so. I can't find a death cert. for her there. Francis was her eldest son, he was a machinist for the RR in Grafton. I requested a 1880 census on him, but thought I would see if anyone on the list might have any info on this family. By the way Francis Love was the grandfather of Gilbert Love, the columnist for the Pgh. Press. (any cousins out there) Bill Love (in Fla.)
