Hello, I am looking for the parents of William Rogers who was born around 1763, I do not know where. His daughter Catherine maried Benjamin Matthews 31 Aug. 1830. I have been told that William was Sheriff of Taylor Co. at one time, but do not know if this is true. He must be connected somehow with a Jacob Rogers as Jacob went surety on Catherine's marriage bond. Thank you. Jean
