Hello: I am searching for the ancestors of Gen. Mathew Goodwin. I have a notation that Mathew Goodwin's wife's name was Ann _____? His 2 daughters Elizabeth Goodwin B Nov 21, 1742, died after 1835. Elizabeth was born in Charlston, Mass. she was married to Mathew Nathan Nutter 1717-1811. Sarah Goodwin born 1717 died after 1802, was married to Capt. Thomas Nutter in 1759. The Goodwins were from Mass. Sarah and Thomas were married in Delaware, and Mathew and Elizabeth were married in Virginia. They settled in the Western part of Virginia, now West Virginia. Their spouses are from the family that settled Nutter Fort, Virginia, now West Virginia, Harrison County. Thank you, Marlene
