Perhaps some DeMoss or Rogers family researchers may be able to help me. I have: James DeMoss (b 10 Sep 1781, d 29 May 1856) married Frances Snider (b 1781, Fauquier Co, VA, d 1 Mar 1853, Taylor Co, WV) with 12 children, one of which is Mary. Mary married Samuel Rogers 8 May 1826 in Monongalia Co, WV. I have one son , James , born ca 1826 and no record of any other children. Various family records of the DeMoss family indicate they left WVA in 1856. Does anyone know the children and where Samuel and Mary may have gone? Thanks, Jim Simon jsim@erols.com
