Since I posted my first query on this family a few days ago (to the Curry list only), I have received several good emails with some good information. I have also found two books on Curreys/Curry families. 1. HISTORY OF THE CURREY FAMILY OF WEST VIRGINIA , and 2. FROM WHENCE WE CAME (The Curry Family). The second book is for a different Curry family that came to WV. The first book is the family I am looking for, but, stops with the brothers...including Johnathan Curry listed above. It does say that his father was probably a John Curry. Some nice people have told me that Johnathan T. Currey b1789, parents were John Currey b ca1760 and wife Eleanor Welsh. One person told me that John Currey's parents were John and Margaret Currey. I would love to have more information on the ancestors of Johnathan T. Currey and wife Nancy Mason. I know there is another Curry/Currey book out there but haven't found it yet. Any help on Johnathan's ancestors would be appreciated. Thanks.. Lyle Corder Bridgeport, WV
