Hello Summers county cousins, It has been a long time since I posted anything to this email list but I had an idea and thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone can help. I love doing genealogy, finding information etc. on my ancestors and relatives but what I have really grown to love are finding old pictures of them. It makes them more than just a name and date-to be able to see what they looked like. Since I don't live in West Virginia, I don't have the opportunity to visit libraries there or try and find and meet cousins in order to find any possible pictures of my ancestors. Therefore, I am going to put a list of my direct line ancestors and aunts and uncles who are from Summers and Monroe counties and just see if anyone out there has any pictures they would be willing to share. If you or someone you know has a photo but it is not avaiable electronically, I will be happy to pay postage both ways if you could send me the picture and I will scan it and then send the picture back.
