Peter Wyant has a will recorded in Summers Co. According the Miller's History of Summers Co.  -- History of Summers Co., James Miller; 1907; p.634 Children listed p 584. "... the settler was a native of Germany, and settled in the Valley of Virginia, in Rockinghom county; was seven years in the Am. Revolutionary War, and fought for the independence of this country. I am a Lowe descentant, but not a Wyant descendant, so I haven't looked at this family in much detail.  There are several Lowes buried in the Mt Pisgah Cemetery.
