To all users. Take note. On one of the boards, or so it appears, [email protected] ......... , posts a blue link only, with no message included. DO NOT, EVER, click on this link !! It has NOTHING to do with family history, or [email protected] , or anything useful. It IS however, a computer virus/bug piggybacking on [email protected] .... 's e-mail name/address. What it DOES do is attack the registry of your computer and lock out access to ANYTHING in your computer except IT, which, makes you think you MUST buy their software download to free up your machine, because you can't even exit out of their popup. Guess what ? Give them your credit card number and you get NO download. They don't have one, but they sure got your credit card number, which they will use freely. So you're stuck with a virus locked up computer, and a hefty charge to your card, and there's nothing you can do about it, "after the fact". Trick is, don't open it in the first place. I DID open it, so I know first hand what it does. Fortunately, I have "Malwarebytes" software loaded. With that, I was able to isolate, then eliminate the virus/bug. The software is expensive. I got it because I opened a registry virus once that I could NOT get out of that caused me a trip the the computer shop. So, good people, beware. Jay R. Smith, Toledo, OHIO
