    2. Hi, If you go to free site Find A Grave - _http://www.findagrave.com/_ (http://www.findagrave.com/) and than look up Restwood Cemetery in Summers County, WV - _http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=79667&CScntry=4&CSst=52&CScnty=3108&CSsr=81_ (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=79667&CScntry=4&CSst=52&CScnty=3108&CSsr=81) & you can get directions and GPS data, There are 55 listings for Restwood - that does not mean it is a complete list. Think about adding your ancestors and pictures of their stone. At the Find A Grave site you can make request to have photos taken - does not mean someone will take the picture for you. I volunteer for the cemeteries where I live - this gives me practice finding and photographing tombstones. My son when he as eight and helping me look for someone had a great suggestion - "Mom, why don't they buried them in alphabetical order?" To get to it, first go to Hinton, then cross the bridge on Temple St (Rt 20) and when you get to the other side of the river, turn right (20 continues to the left). Go a short ways, maybe 1/4 mile to Madam Creek Rd, and turn left. Head up Madam Creek about 1 mile, and you'll see a sign for Restwood on the right, at county road 4/1. It's a big cemetery, so the challenge is to find where their graves are. If you go on a weekday, maybe the office can help you. 3. Thank you, Kathy. Anyone who knows me knows my love for cemeteries so I don't mind the hunt for the graves. Please tell your son that burying them in alphabetical order would take all of the fun out of it. My son, who is 22 just says, "Oh no, not another one". 3. I don't know the name of the cemetery in Hinton, but I went there a few years back, and took pictures of all of the headstones. It is mainly a "Vandall" cemetery and their spouses/children. What were great Aunt/Uncle's names? Chris Vandall . ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anita McClung" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, June 30, 2009 8:31 AM Subject: Re: [WVSUMMER] Restwood Memorial Thank you, Kathy. 3. Hello Kathie I see you are still helping people with genealogy. I just put copies of some ELLISON material from NJ that you sent to me back in 2006 in the mail to a cousin.. I had put part of it away due to moving, etc and recently dug it out to review again. Wm English, James Ellison and Ann English/Addis, etc. Their descendants settled in southeast WV. Thanks again for all you have done for me and others in our search for answers.
