    2. Dear Vernon and Betty, Thank you for responding. Yes, we have seen the spelling different ways but this is the same person. A. A. Hopkins was a distant relative of mine. I got to know a lot about him through Oswald and Dale neeley, whom Alonzo lived with while he wrote the book. Understand Oswald has passed, sorry to hear that. Good people. What was your gggrandfather's name, Vernon? What cemetery? I have tried to find out more about the Company 1, Sixtieth Regiment, but not much success. Some of the old units had a group photo taken, but I was told the book on the sixtieth had no group photo. When and if the weather cools my uncle and me are coming back to Mercer and Summer Counties for some more searching. Sure wish we could hear from some Farley family members.
