Seeing these coal mining accidents on T.V. remind us all of the olden day mine disasters and how the families suffered. I know it was and is a way of life but I don't know how they manage to stay sane while living on the edge. I visited those Endless Caverns in VA one year and the guide told us to look up--I don't remember how far down we were but that was the first and last time for me. And this nothing compared to where the miners go. Lordy Doris Snyder
