Dave, It is possible that your ancestor was buried somewhere other than Summers county even though he died may have died in Hinton. There is a cemetery book for Monroe and Mercer counties if someone out there has access to them (mine are in storage-I am in the process of moving) maybe they could look up for you and see if he is listed.
