Hi Everyone. I have a Ratcliff that married into the Moten Family. this was in Summers County, but I don't know where they spread to. Luorica "Leona Onie" Moten, daughter of John Wesley Moten, married Lacy Allen Ratliff, Sr., the sone of Robert L. Ratliff and Nannie Williams. Lacy was born 28 Sept 1903 and died 28 Sep 1965 and is buried in Restwood Cemetery, Summers County, West Virginia. The children were Margie Eloire Ratliff, born 6 Aug 1924, Barbra Ellen Ratliff born 10 May 1926, Polly Ann Ratliff born 11 Apr 1929, Martha Lee Ratliff, born 24 Dec (don't have year) and Lacy Allen ratliff, Jr. was born 7 Apr 1933 and died on 20 aug 1935 and is buried in Restwood Cemetery, in Summers County, West Virginia Margie Eloire Ratliff married to Harry Ray Cooper who was born on 6 Dec 1923. He died on 21 May 1978 and was buried in the Restwood Cemetery, Summers County. I have no death date for Margie. Children were Joyce Karen Cooper born 22 Feb 1942 and married Thomas L. Porter on 13 May 1964. Thomas was born 11 Mar 1942; July Lee Cooper was born19 May 1944 and married to James L. Caskwell; Marsha Ann Cooper was born 30 Mar 1954 and married Benny L. Davis, Benny was born 21 Jun 1954; Penny teresa Cooper was born 25 Jun 1961 and married Charles E. Wills on 21 Apr 1984. Barbara Ellen Ratliff was born 10 May 1926 and married Floyd Lawrence Lane (Floyd ws born 9 Jan 1924. Their children were Floyd Lawrence Lane, Jr; Rebecca Sue Lane, John Mark Lane, Jo Lane, Polly Ann Ratliff was born 11 April 1929 and married Chalrles Lewis Keaton on 28 Nov 1946. Charles was born 16 Sept 1923 and died Nov 26, 1988 and buried in the Restwood Cemtery-Sgt US Army WWII. Their children were Linda Sue Keaton born 25 Aug 1947 and David Michael Keaton born 9 Jan 1950. Martha Lee Ratliff was born 24 Dec (Year unknown) and married Eddie Smith first and than James H. Hartley second (Year unknown) Children were James H. Hartley, Jr. and Susan Hartley (No dates) Any help with this would be appreciated.
