I failed to mention that the article was by Benny's father so he should know the correct date of birth and by the way, his mother was the daughter of General Wirt Lester. It is not unusual to find errors in Latter Day. I find they can provide good leadfs but will let you submit anything. Family article In History of Summers Co 1984 on him states that he married Mary Eliz Lilly 13 Feb 1951. Members First Bapt Ch in Hinton. Sgt in Army (1950-52) Elected Constable of Summers Co in 1960 and in 1984 was employed by C&O RR as engineer. Article covers parents as well as brother & Sister. I found a Mathew Reed and wife Elizabeth aged 47 and both born in VA living in 1st ward Hinton at 1605 Summers St. (I belive as it was hard to make out). I could not find them in either the 1910 or 1930 census. Her maiden name was Booth. I have nothing factual on this couple or any children. I looked in the Find A grave for WV but found nothing.
