    3. No, I do not have a listing of graves that were moved, when the dam was built. I have the 1996 Summers County Cemetery book, and it gives these cemeteries as moved to the Greenbrier Cemetery on Williowwood, just above Hinton; Flatfield, Haynes, Barker, Smith, Bull Falls and Crumps Bottom. All names are in alphabetical order in the book. 3. Janet Do you have a listing of the graves that were moved when they backed up the water when they were building the dam there by Hinton? The Library did have a copy and I did have a copy of what they have. The big problem is that a lot of the graves were unmarked or listed as unknown so a lot are not marked except for a number. I will have to look for the list and see if I still have. Give a change and see if I can find it. I will write you when I can find it. 3. I found George William Mathews Jr, death record and he is buried in the Meadow Creek Cemetery. M. L. Arrington is listed as the funeral director and he was the director of the Ronald Meadows Funeral Home at that time. http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_view.aspx?Id=2131915&Type=Death I have conntacted the Roanld Meadow's Funeral home for you, and he said it will take a few days for him to go through his records. If you have death dates for George and Lydia let me know and I will tell the funeral home. I live at Meadow Creek and also have a copy of the two cemeteries, Meadow Creek and the Claypool Road cemetery and there are no Mathews listed as buried in either. Also have the 1996 Summers Co., WV Cemetery book, by the Summers County Historical Society and they have copied both cemeteries and they are not listed in the book. I would imagine that his parents are also buried in the same cemetery, with no markers. 3. I need to make a correction to my early query. The Gertrude Burr McClung who was the daughter of George Burr and Eliza Jane McClung did not pass until 1983, not in 1973 as I stated earlier. However as I did state earlier, this Anna Fekete Burr who married Clinton Maxwell Goff never appears in the census records with this family. So, who was she??? anita mcClung Fayette County, WV

    3. Can anyone tell me who the parents of Anna Fekete Burr, born Sept. 10, 1910 and married Max Goff in 1928, Summers County belonged to?  For whatever reason, she has been attached to my great aunt and uncle, Eliza Jane McClung and George A. Burr but she cannot possibly belong to them. Aunt Jennie had a daughter named Carried born in June 1910 and therefore it would have been impossible for Anna to have been their child. Yes, it is true that Anna's obituary lists a sister, Gertrude McClung as her survivor and although George and Jennie had a daughter, Gertrude who married a McClung, their Gertrude had already passed (1973) by the time of Anna's death in 1974. One last thing, in the census years 1900-1930, no Anna appears in the home of George and Jennie. Only those children known to have belonged to them are in the home at anyone time. Thank you, Anita McClung Fayette County, WV

    3. Interesting that this subject has just came up. I am researching my Burr line out of Greenbrier and Nicholas Counties and found a marriage for Clora Burr to William Richard Boyd, Dec. 23, 1937 in Summers County, WV. William Richard Boyd was first married to Lena Wyant, d/o CS Wyant and Josie Meadows of Summers County. I am a Lowe descentant, but not a Wyant descendant, so I haven't looked at this family in much detail.  There are several Lowes buried in the Mt Pisgah Cemetery.
