I am trying to figure out who the Rebecca Meadows on this marriage records is the daughter of. J.A. Todd is John A. todd and i know who his parents are but not hers. Says she was born in 1858 in greenbrier Co., but at the time of marriage was in summers co.,. Her and John are in the 1880 census together but by 1900 john is living in washington with a different wife named Mary. In the 1910 census It says John and Mary wed in 1882 with this being John's second marriage. So Rebecca meadows either passed away or divorced John Todd bet 1880-1882. If anyone can help me figure out who she descends from id aprreciate it.

I have the 1996 Summers County Cemetery book, and it gives these cemeteries as moved to the Greenbrier Cemetery on Williowwood, just above Hinton; Flatfield, Haynes, Barker, Smith, Bull Falls and Crumps Bottom. All names are in alphabetical order in the book. The Library did have a copy and I did have a copy of what they have. The big problem is that a lot of the graves were unmarked or listed as unknown so a lot are not marked except for a number. I need to make a correction to my early query. The Gertrude Burr McClung who was the daughter of George Burr and Eliza Jane McClung did not pass until 1983, not in 1973 as I stated earlier. However as I did state earlier, this Anna Fekete Burr who married Clinton Maxwell Goff never appears in the census records with this family. So, who was she??? anita mcClung Fayette County, WV

I have Peter Wyant md Sarah Meadows; don't have his parents. Their son, Peter B Wyant, md Isabella Agnes Lowe, d/o Mathew Lowe and Elizabeth Clark. Elizabeth Clark's mother was a Kincaid. Peter Wyant has a will recorded in Summers Co. According the Miller's History of Summers Co. -- History of Summers Co., James Miller; 1907; p.634 Children listed p 584.
