I would advise you go in very dry weather and 4 wheel drive would be a good idea too. The last time I was up there, the road was pretty rough. But it is beautiful when you get up to it. Hi, Those directions are accurate but I believe the old Nutter homestead has burned down. Try this: Assume you're traveling east on RT 47. After passing Cisco, its about 2.5 miles to the intersection with RT 53. Its then about 2 miles to Oxbow Road, which turns left just before RT 47 crosses the river. The road to the Nutter Cemetery will go up the hill on the left before you get to the Oxbow Road. If you get to the Oxbow Road, you have gone too far. Hope that helps.
