Interesting about the family. There could be another explanation. There was a family in Belmont Co where the man had one family by his wife and then he had a younger woman working in the house for his wife. This younger woman was given or using a small house on their property and he also had children by her at the same time he was having women by his legal wife. A lady told me this once when I was in Ohio, but she didn't want to elaborate any more. I think she was quite upset at what she found. Jerilyn I also have seen several instances of where a man would have two families in two different counties and they weren't that far apart, but since women didn't travel much suppose they never found out. One that I remember was a Quaker family.
