BAKER, 88, of Rt. 2, Pennsboro (Hursher's Run Community), WV, died Sunday, 4 September 1994, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg, WV. She was born in Beason Community near Pennsboro, Ritchie County, WV, a daughter of the late James and Lillie MAHANEY ELDER. She was a homemaker and attented the First Apostolic Church of Harrisville, WV. Surviving are seven sons, Olin BAKER and Dencil BAKER, both of Highland Community, Ellenboro, WV, Roy BAKER of Washburn Community, Harrisville, WV, Okey BAKER Jr., of Indian Creek Community, Harrisville, Edgel BAKER of Beason Community, Kester BAKER and Rollin BAKER of Hursher's Run Community, Pennsboro; two daughters, Erma SMITH and Wilma BUNNER, both of Hursher's Run; a sister, Ruby CALHOUN of Harrisville and Masillon, OH; 47 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, Okey O. BAKER; a son, Donzil BAKER; an infant daughter, Rena Doris BAKER; four brothers; two half-brothers; a sister; and a great-great-grandchild. Services were held at McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, with the Revs. Kenneth Perrine and Ronald Moss officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery near Pullman, WV.
