He was born in Ritchie County, a son of Alta SHEPLER COX of Massilion, OH, and the late Leonard L. COX. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army with service in Korea, a member of the VFW in Albia, was employed on the railroad, the Morrell Meat Packing Company, and was a truck driver. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two sons, Bill COX and Steve COX, both of Albia; two brothers, Dale COX of Canton, OH, and Gene E. COX of Good Hope, WV. Services and burial were held in Albia. Gilbert Funeral Home, Albia, was in charge of arrangements. (submitter not related)
