PIFER, 91, formerly of RR 1, Cairo (Glendale Community), WV, died Saturday, 10 December 1994, at The Willows, Parkersburg, WV, after an extended illness. She was born in Glendale, Ritchie County, WV, a daughter of the late Frederick and Cora Dell ALLENDER HENDRICKSON. She was a homemaker, a member of Glendale Farm Women's Club, Glendale Ladies Aid, United Methodist Women, Glendale Senior Citizens and a lifetime member of Glendale United Methodist Church. She had been a correspondent for the Ritchie Gazette for many years. Surviving are a son, Lewis A. PIFER of Vienna, WV; a sister, Wilma ALLARD of Drumright, OK; two halfsisters, Delphia INGRAM of Vienna and Grace GREGG of Parkersburg; a half-brother, Bob HENDRICKSON of St. Marys, WV; and two grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, Floyd W. PIFER, a sister, Mildred JAMESON, and three halfbrothers, Bill, Frank and Charles HENDRICKSON. Services were held at McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, WV, with the Rev. Danny Martin officiating. Burial followed in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Finch, Ritchie County, WV.
