He was born in Ellenboro, WV, and had lived in Canton, since 1946. He retired from U.S. Steel with 30 years of service and was an Army veteran of World War II, where he received five Bronze Stars and one Arrowhead. Surviving are his wife, Beulah; two sons, Ivand WILSON of Kimbolton, OH, and Kevin WILSON, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Leroy (Shirley) AMBROSE of Orrville, OH; two sisters, Mrs. Carl (Edna) CROSTON of Parkersburg, WV, and Mrs. Lester (Helen) LAMM of Winchester, VA; a brother, Robert WILSON of Columbus, OH; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services were hled at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home, Canton, with Pastor Durwin Burtz officiating. Burial followed in Eden Cemetery. (submitter not related)
