BURGY, 64, of Cairo, WV, died Sunday, 2 October 1994, in Pine View Continuous Care Center, Harrisville, WV. She was born near Auburn, Ritchie County, WV, a daughter of Lora Myrtle TINGLER DRANE and the late William Ira DRANE. She attended Harrisville High School, was a homemaker and a member of Cairo Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are three sons, Eugene BURGY of Newark, WV, William E. BURGY and Michael BURGY, both of Lawton, OK; two daughters, Patricia DOTSON of Woodstock, Va, and Lora BURGY of Parkersburg, WV; a brother, Robert DRANE of Munhall, PA; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, Martin L. BURGY, and a granddaughter. Services will be held Thursday, October 6th, 1:00 p.m., at Cairo Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Cairo I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation is after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00-10:30 a.m. Thursday at McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, WV, and at the church 12:00 noon-1:00 p.m. Thursday. (submitter not related)
