She was born 9 December 1927, in Harrisville, WV, a daughter of the late Laura and Clyde DAVISSON. She was a 1946 graduate of Harrisville High School, and moved to Washington D. C., in 1951 to work for the Navy Department. She married a foreign service officer and accompanied her husband on several overseas tours. After his retirement, they moved to Aiken where she was a homemaker, member of the St. Johns United Methodist Church, volunteer at the Aiken Regional Medical Center, member of the Midland Valley Country Club, and enjoyed golf and ceramics. Surviving are her husband, Jack WOODZELL; three daughters, Karen A. REXRODE of Aldie, VA, Lisa K. HOOD of Stafford, VA, and Leslie K. WOODZELL of Fredericksburg, VA; five sisters, Robeta Root of Canton, OH, Marjorie DAVISSON and Eloise MIRACLE, both of Harrisville, WV, Susie BRISSEY of Smyrna, GA, and Jan WRIGHT of Johnstown, PA; and four grandchildren. Services were held at St. John's U.M. Church with burial in Sunset Memory Garden. (submitter not related)
