Clyde SCOTT, 83, of RR 6, Lynch Church Rd., Marietta, OH, died Sunday, 11 December 1994, in Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born in Glendale, Ritchie County, WV, a son of the late John SCOTT and Edna BOWIE SCOTT RADAR. He worked as a driver and in the maintenance division at Broughton Foods for more than 35 years until his retirement in 1977. He was a former member of BPOE Lodge 477 and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1823. He liked gardening and woodworking. Surviving are his wife, Thelma Irene CLARK SCOTT; a son Carroll L. SCOTT of Cape Coral, FL; seven daughters, Terry DAILEY, Sharon MILLER and Maxine NEVILLE, all of Marietta, Wilma BRADFORD of Reno, OH, Sue FAUGHT of Wilkesville, OH, Gloria LEWIS of Williamstown, WV, and Lois MAHONEY of Ft. Wayne, IN; 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were an infant brother, Pearl SCOTT, and a sister, Opal SCADDEN. Services were held at McClure-Schafer Funeral Home, Marietta, with the Rev. Joseph Henry officiating. Burial followed in East Lawn Memorial Park. (submitter not related)
