STEPHENS, 67, of Canton, GA, died Tuesday, 27 September 1994, in Kennestone, GA. He was born in Pennsboro, WV, a son of the late Zula Maude PYLES. He was in the construction trade and a U.S. veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Clayton Baptist Church, Canton. Surviving are his wife, Pauline DODD STEPHENS; four sons, David STEPHENS of Texas, William MACE of Ellenboro, WV, James PYLES of Cairo, WV, and David PYLES of Canton, GA; five daughters, Sandra STEELE of Waverly, WV, Nancy WEAVER of Murphy, NC, Karen COLLINS and Susan PYLES, both of Canton, GA, and Wendy STOUPES, of Philadelphia, TN; four brothers, Darrell STEPHENS of Vienna, WV, Louis TIMMONS and Don TIMMONS, both of Pennsboro, WV, and Walter TIMMONS of Orlando, FL; a sister, Jackie HILKEY of Cairo; 16 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services were held at McCullough Funeral Home, Pennsboro, with Revs. James Pyles and Martin Corbin officiating. Burial followed in Gnats Run Cemetery, near Pennsboro. (submitte not related)
