She was born in Cairo, WV, a daughter of the late Elijah Stephen and Bertha BRAUN GILMORE. She retired from Westinghouse Company of Fairmont after 25 years of service and was a member of Diamond Temple United Methodist Church, Whitehall Homemakers Club, Christian Women's Club, Pythian Sisters and Westinghouse Retirees Luncheon Group. Surviving are two sons, Howard HUNSAKER, Jr., of Grafton, WV, and George Gilmore HUNSAKER of Arlington, VA; two daughters, Anna Mae BRUMAGE of Wellsburg, WV, and Martha Jane PATTERSON of Woodstock, VA; a brother, Carl Oswell GILMORE of Massillon, OH; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Howard Clayton HUNSAKER, in 1976; two sisters, Garnet PERKINS and Edeth BRISSEY; two brothers, Cornelius GILMORE and Mancel GILMORE; and a grandchild, Shelly Marie HUNSAKER. Services were held at Ford Chapel, Ford Funeral Home, Fairmont, with the Rev. David Maze officiating. Burial followed in Bridgeport (WV) Cemetery. (submitter not related)
