ROLLINS, 67, of Elizabeth, WV, died Tuesday, 13 December 1994, at his residence after a brief illness. He was born in McFarlan, WV, a son of the late Harry and Thelma HAUGHT ROLLINS. He was a graduate of Harrisville High School and Glenville State College, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked in education at Logan County schools (1951-52), was Newark Elementary princiapl (1952-55), Hartley Elementary principal (1955-57) and Elizabeth Elementary principal (1957-58). He retired in 1985 and was a member of Elizabeth-Wirt County Volunteer Fire Department, Wirt County Fair Association, Wirt County Association of Retired School Employees, Wirt County Educational Trust Fund Association, Gleville State College Alumni Association, V.F.W. Post 1212, American Legion Post 55, Burning Springs Lodge AF&AM and was a past Wirt County Boy Scout leader. He was a National Rifle Association certified instructor. Surviving are is wife of 29 years, Mary AMERICA ROLLINS; a son, Alan ROLLINS of Charleston, WV; two brothers, Richard ROLLINS of Smithville, WV, and Jack ROLLINS of Macfarlan; a sister, Sue PETTIT of Munday, WV; two nieces and four nephews. Services were held at Matheny-Pomroy Funeral Home, Elizabeth, WV, with the Rev. Michael Taylor officiating. Burial followed in the Knights of Pythais Cemetery.
