<<Edith Weese was the daughter of Daniel Weese, son of Jacob and Catherine Weese, and Elizabeth Phillips, daughter of John and Catherine Isner Phillips. Daniel was married a second time to Elizabeth McLean.>> I have Daniel Weese birth as 1790 in West Virginia. Not sure which town. His daughter Edith married Jacob W. WOLFORD 5 June 1835 in Randolph County. Found that in Randolph County Marriage book. Doesn't state where in Randolph Co. Jacob's parents, Jacob Wolford and Eve Hawk, were married 1 Jan 1810 in Moorefield, Hardy Co, by John Johnson. Jacob and Eve's children are Jacob W. (see above), Martin and Abraham. Another researcher, years ago, said that Jacob and Eve moved to Ohio, but I have not been able to confirm whether they did or didn't. Diane Wolford [email protected]
