    1. [WVRANDOL-L] TO REMEMBER ALL OUR VETERANS ON THIS DAY
    2. As the daugther of a career soldier in the US Army, I would like to say thanks and send my best wishes to all of you out there that have served your country. I lost my daddy in 1991 and there isn't a day goes by that I don't wish that I could give him a hug and tell him how much I love him. So in that stead, I wish all of you health and prosperity and extend my eternal thanks for the opportunity that you afforded me to live in a country like ours. Good, bad or indifferent, I know that America has it's problems, but all said, there isn't anyplace else on earth that I could rather live, and all of us owe you a debt of gratitude. The poem below was written by an anonymous author, but I would like to share it with you. Pamela Repp Nashville, TN Soldier With Wings If I should ever meet a soldier in the sky .. I'd snap a crisp salute and never pass him by. If, on my walk through Heaven, I should chance to meet a soldier there walking ... I'll fall right to my knees. I'd look up at him with honor, love and thankful prayers. For every freedom I ever had, was mine because he cared. He gave his life in battle to keep this land free. A place where I could remember the choices he left for me. I will remember, with a thankful heart, the soldiers who gave their lives then from us did depart. So if I should meet a soldier in the sky ... I'd fall to my knees and look him in the eye. I'd take just a moment and thank him for the price, he paid so I might live in a land so nice. I'd shed a tear of thankfulness for my freedom, among other things. He was somebody's child ... this soldier with wings. After a moment of thanks, he'd turn and walk his way. One hug around his neck among the medals he displays.
