    3. Hello all! How are you? Just to let you know who I am. First of all, I am new to the list and only been on the internet a couple of months but boy am I learning fast!! So please bear with me, I am definitely a "newbie" at this. I, and my family have "roots" in Randolph County, WV. My father was: ARDEN RAY "TED" SWECKER, b. Oct 2, 1921 in Huttonsville (Riffle Creek Rd), d. June 3, 1998 in Taylor Co, buried in the Brick Church Cemetary near Huttonsville. (s/o HOLT SAMUEL & LUCY MARCELLA (KITTLE) SWECKER, g-s/o JOHN CALVIN & OPHELIA ANN (SIMMONS) -paternal and SQUIRE BOSWORTH KITTLE & MARCELLA ELIZABETH (SHIFLETT) - maternal m. EVA ARLENE (CHANNELL), b. Feb 23, 1924 in Elkwater, Randolph Co., d/o NORVEL OSGROW & CYNTHIA ELIZABETH (HARRIS) CHANNELL g-d/o SPENCER DORFICE & SARAH ANN (WARE) CHANNELL - paternal and NELSON ALEXANDER & VIRGINIA (RIFFLE) HARRIS I have two older sisters and one older brother, all born in Randlolph Co. Me? I was (and still am) the oddball of the bunch. I was born in Harrison Co., WV. The others were born in Randolph but we all went to school and graduated from the same school (one in 1964, one in 1968, one in 1972, and me in 1979) in Taylor County. The only one of us four that currently live in Randolph is my brother and his family. I currently live in MO but my heart has always been and forever will be in those beaurtiful mountains of home. I do have a fairly recent copy of the History of Randolph County and am willing look up some thing for you if need be. Take care.
