Caplinger; b. 1816 ; m. Wilson, Elizabeth George Caplinger; Jacob Wilson Caplinger; Martha B. Caplinger; b. 1838, Randolph, VA; For me to find my ggg grandfather's parents names, etc., it looks like I'm going to have to use the process of elimination method because of the large number of Caplingers named George, John, Jacob, etc. coming out of VA/WVA into TN, KY, IL, OH, and OR in the late 1700s and early 1800s. In those days, they seemed to name not only their own children by these first names, but their nephews got the same first names too. Thanks again for your help.
