I am new to the WVRANDOL-L mailing list. We seem to have some common ancestral names. My husband's grandfather was Jay Parsons WHITE (b.1880) married to Emeline Florence WOODFORD (b.1880), both of Dryfork, WV. Emeline's mother was Elizabeth CARR, but Emeline chose to use her real father's name of WOODFORD. Apparently, Elizabeth CARR married James W. BONNER after Emeline was born. We show many CARRs in this genealogy, but we can't straighten them out. If you could give us any insights, we would really appreciate it. I am also having trouble sorting out the WHITE names. Any help there would also be greatly appreciated.
