Joseph Summerfield was born in 1750 and was married to Winnie Nelson in about 1750, then married to widow Abigail White. Joseph died 1823. A confusing aspect is the daughter Margaret. She had a daughter, Mary Summerfield that married John Wolford in 1831. I don't know who Mary's father is. Either a man with the same name or maybe born out of wedlock.
