Hello, This is my first posting to the list, please let me know if I don't do it right. I am researching the Jacob Weese family of Randolph Co. The first Jacob in Randolph, in his will dated April 15, 1814, names "heirs of daughter Bogart". I have found no other information regarding this daughter. I have seen other researchers who have Bogart as her first name, while I've always thought this was her married named & her first name had been omitted in the will. I had not found the surname Bogart in the area, the closest I found was Bogard. In the 1810 Hampshire County Census there is a Daniel Bogard, living alone, age 16-26. This doesn't answer your questions, but would you please let me know if you find a Bogart/Bogard - Weese connection? Also how do I get on the mailing list for the Hornbeck-D Digest? I have a John M. Hornbeck who married 1. Eunice Daniels, 2. Martha E. Weese, 3. Minnie B. Weese, would appreciate any information on Martha & Minnie. Thank you, Janet Graham Des Moines, IA [email protected]
