I am hoping that someone may have some information on my gggrandfather James Henry Davidson, about whom I know very little except that he was b. in Harrison Co. in 1816 and had at least two brothers, Alexander and Levi. He moved to IL at least by 1840 with at least one of his brothers, because he married Lucinda Rector in Edgar Co. in 1841 and Alexander married there in 1840 to a Rebecca Smith.
