Does anybody know where the Joseph Channell than married Mahalia Yeager of present day Barbour Co fits in the family? The brother of the first Jeremiah in Randolph (Jeremiah died 1797) was a Joseph, but he did not marry her. In 1840 in Licking Co., Ohio there is a deed of a Joseph and Mahala Channell deeding land to an Isom Channell, so there is no doubt that is where this couple went after marrying. Is it possible this is another son of the first Jeremiah Channell of Randolph? Especially since Joseph and John, brothers to the Jeremiah Channell of Randolph also settled in Licking Co., Ohio?
