    2. Ginny, My Great Grandfather was Henry C. Pennington, not Henry C. Long. I know someone out there has information on Henry C. Pennington's family, I'm just hoping that they will share it. Now I'm starting to doubt if I found Henry's family. But, I still believe that Henry and Virginia were cousins. Henry and Virginia Pennington are my Great-Grandparents. Is there any Randolph County census records on line where I can do some more research, or any books I can purchase on Randolph County, West Virginia census with family information. Debbie Hi Debbie- I'm not a Pennington researcher but I was in the Randolph Co Marriages 1787 - 11923 when I saw your thread and I see there that Virginia C. Pennington (age 22) married Henry Clay Long (age 21) on 5 Apr 1895. Is this not your Virginia C. ? The latest census I have is 1870 and Solomon A. is 63 years old with 9 children including Solomon J. who is 24. I just couldn't resist throwing this out there so I'll leave quietly now, :-) Ginny -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [SMTP:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, March 21, 1999 2:40 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Henry C Pennington Dear Shaunta and Pennington Researchers, Thank you. This confirms that Henry C. Pennington's father was William Pennington and he had a brother Solomon J Pennington, sons of Solomon A. Pennington. Virginia C. Pennington's father was Solomon J. Pennington. So Henry and Virginia were cousins. They married about 1895. Now what group is this? Hi Debbie, I've been trying to follow your posts in the Pennington Group and Randolph County group. Did you receive info about who Henry C.'s dad is? Do you think that his dad is William, son of Soloman A. Pennington? If so, what is the source? I sent you some info about Soloman A. Pennington's children earlier this month. I relooked at the message and it shows that Soloman A. had sons named William and Soloman Judy Pennington. The sources for my Soloman A. Pennington info are: Fansler, History of Tucker County; Maxwell, Randolph County History; 1860 Tucker County Census; Mrs. Linnnie Adkins (someone my mother corresponded with years ago). I haven't seen any Randolph County censuses so I was interested in your last post to the Pennington group. It helps to verify some of my information. Thanks. We'll have to keep in touch. shaunta
