Hello, subscribers; Today I learned that it was not a good idea for me to have [email protected], [email protected] subscribed to each other which I thought was ideal as the two lists could talk to each other, so to speak. Also, I am one of the few people who got one of Harold Helm's lists that also had a near duplicate. So, there is a possible plan to merge the two lists but this is not definite news, yet. To be fair, WILMOT is the oldest list and the one with the most subscribers. So, I have suggested that the list continue as WILMOT even though all of my ancestors went by the spelling of WILMOTH. It is not a good idea for me to try to cross-post from one list to the other, there is no way I could keep track of which was posted to which and when. It would be helpful if all WILMOTH-L and WILMOT-L would learn to post to both lists and to subscribe to both lists. Then and only then could they be assured of getting all WILMOTH-L and WILMOT-L messages. When I learn how this is going to be done, I will let you know. Meanwhile, I do hope that you will bear with us as we endeavor to work this all out.
