Thanks for the information. I don't suppose we will ever know for sure if Soldier was also married to Mary Raines. Maybe if I keep digging into the records, I'll find proof either way. I hope to go to Randolph and Pendleton counties later this summer to get some first-hand information. I've been to the Randolph Co. courthouse, but it was years ago. I did see all the White marriage entries "in person" at that time. Bonnie
