Hi, Dawn - that's part of my problem, I didn't make a copy of the information, just typed into my lap-top. (live and learn). ...I'm back - just went to look at my files - and although I don't have the anyplace noted other than Randolph County for the 1910 census, I did make a note of the 1920, which says Womelsdorf - that's Coalton today. Maybe this would help. Thank you so much for your offer!!! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dawn Amos" <cdamos@attbi.com> To: <WVRANDOL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, October 26, 2002 2:00 PM Subject: Re: [WVRANDOL-L] Vital Records or 1920 census > Bonnie, > What town in Randolph Co did you find her in 1910. I just talked with a friend in Mill Creek about Margie McCrobie. She is believed to have been unmarried at the time of her residence in Mill Creek at least in the late 1940s and the 1950s. As stated before, one son was Darrell, a 1953 graduate of Tygarts Valley High school. (I have a yearbook picture that could be scanned if you want it and are willing to accept a photo that will not be the absolute top quality). Darrell's older brother, by a year or two, was Richard McCrobie. -- dhamrick4@neo.rr.com Dan Hamrick 402 23rd Street NW Canton OH 44709-3818 Telephone: 330-454-2376
Thanks for the offer of the picture - any quality is better than no picture! Ha! This might sound silly, but I have to ask, since I am not from the area - Is Tygarts Valley the name of the school, or is it a town? Thanks, Dan for your help! This is going pretty well, don't you think? Now that I am back to researching Margie - I am back to working on a timeline for her father. I still am not sure which one of the wives was the mother, but I think I will find out soon. Have a geat day! And thanks to everyone who has helped on this! -------Original Message------- From: WVRANDOL-L@rootsweb.com Date: Sunday, October 27, 2002 06:44:17 PM To: WVRANDOL-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [WVRANDOL-L] Vital Records or 1920 census I just talked with a friend in Mill Creek about Margie McCrobie.
